I first heard about hydronic heating years ago when my dad had heated floors put into an industrial space he owned. The idea was simple, heated pipes running through a concrete floor, and it worked.
Since then, whenever I have to live through a windy Chicago winter, in a freezing apartment that can never seem to get warm, I always wish I had heated floors. One day my house will have them.
Until then I am giving you the information you need to make an educated decision on whether or not, radiant flooring is for you.
